Professional Development - Otago Literacy Symposium
On Thursday 18th April I attended the Annual Otago Literacy Symposium at Elm Grove School, Mosgiel. This was wonderful PD to learn of fellow teachers and educators. I attended three workshops: 1. Putting the Joy back into literacy - Sarah Aiono 2. Passion meets creativity - Genius Hour - Rachel O' Connell and Reegan Tourell 3. Fostering a Growth Mindset - Andrea Robertson I gained some valuable resources to implement in my class and some tips of what else I can be doing to help my learners.
